Diane Arbus audio lecture
Wow. A new photography site called Almanac just posted an audio recording of Diane Arbus addressing a class of students in the spring of 1970, a year before her suicide. It's creepy and wonderful, as she is so open and giddy and obviously on the edge of sanity...
Check it out and let me know what you think, okay?

Thank you for the Anders Petersen interview and the news concerning Almanac Magazine! The latter was particularly good news after discovering that AK-47 magazine no longer seems to exist...
the interview is quite affecting...i could almost imagine how she´s standing there and talking...i would have listened to her much longer than the interview on the site is...great...
Thanks so much for the link to this audio! I just finished my masters (which i found challenging to say the least) writing about Diane Arbus' photography. After immersing myself in 'her world' it is absolutely amazing to hear her voice. And strangely, the actual sound of her voice is unexpectedly familiar!!! She sounds vibrant, articulate and fun.
