International Exposure Awards exhibition at VII Gallery in Brooklyn

The exhibition, 31 Contemporary Photographers, represents some of the best work submitted last year for the Lens Culture International Exposure Awards. The works shown represent a broad range of genres and approaches, and the 31 winning photographers hail from 12 countries — so there is a wonderful cultural mix, as well. The exhibition is currently on display at the lovely VII Gallery in Brooklyn, New York. It runs there through September 2. It's well worth a look.

Five of the Award-winning photographers were in New York for the pre-opening party. Pictured: Joachim Froese (Honorable Mention winner), Martine Fougeron (Grand Prize winner, Single Image category), Louisa Marie Summer (3rd Prize winner, Portfolio category), Jim Casper (Lens Culture founder), Jessica Hines (Grand Prize winner, Portfolio category), and Mary Shannon Johnstone (Honorable Mention winner).
