I used to be the guy telling the photographer what I was hoping to capture. It was fun, but when I learned how to "see" a shot then I was telling myself what to do but that was too hard. So, I have found the best way to photograph is to be technically astute, in other words, know your equipment first. Then let the shot come to you. I am a writer, inventor, and former creative director in advertising. I really am trying to be the best people photographer by (get this) by showing up around the world wherever people are in their element. Their natural surroundings. I keep the camera nearby, warm and ready.
