Adelaide Di Nunzio was born in Naples in 1978.
She graduated at Academy of Arts in Naples and she moved to Milan to attend the photography and contemporary photographic design at photography School “Richard Bauer”.
She has devoted herself to different genres of photography, from scene photos (music and theatre), to journalistic news and reportages. She is also a teacher of graphics and art of photography.
At the moment she is realizing projects both in the field of art photography and reportage.
She loves photographing analogically ,but she prefers digital medium for reportage.
Her approach to images is always socio-anthropological in search of symbols and evocations in order to realize an emotional communication through which viewers are stimulated to reflect on the subject.
Her photos and reportages have been published on Italian and international newspapers - Vanity Fair, A, Rolling Stone, XL, Guardian (England), Journal Du Dimanche (France), HP (Netherlands), Esta (Netherlands), Sunday Times (UK)etc.
She has participated in many exhibitions with her artistic works. In 2011 she took part in the "Turin Photo Festival" and the Venice Biennale “Pavilion Academy” with her work “The Graces”.
She was winner of the "Contest 12x8 - project funded by the European Union, in collaboration with the University " L 'Orientale " of Naples Italy, for the realization of a report " Women Empowerment in Benin " in 2011, with the task of photojournalist and organizer of 'photographic art exhibition, “Equal opportunities and empowerment of women” realized at Museum PAN in Naples
She made a photographic Slide- show photo titled "A day with Arada" in Addis Ababa with Marco Di Nunzio, at the Department of Anthropology at the University of Oxford in the event "Focus On The Horn"in 2012
In 2013 she realized a personal exhibition “Gods and Goddesses in “PrimoPiano” Gallery Naples and repeated the same in “Galeri Artist” Çukurcuma Istanbul Turkey, and Med Festival Photo”, Benedictine Museum, Catania Italy. The same personal exhibition is taking place now (september - november 2016) at the gallery “Arkè” of Marò d’Agostino in Locri Italy
In October 2016 the last work a reportage “ Unfinished -Criminal Architecture-” has become an exhibition at the gallery “Mediterranea “ of Saverio Ammendola in Naples Italy.
