Adrienne Surprenant is a canadian photojournalist, member of Collectif Item. She pursues long term projects on social and environmental issues. She is now based in the Central African Republic, but has covered stories in Central America, Central Africa and the Middle East, for Canadian and International medias.
Her report "Waiting for the Canal in Nicaragua" was exhibited at Visa Pour L'image 2015, and her recent work on Somaliland's drought was at Zoom Photo Festival in Canada. She is part of the 2017 "30 under 30 women photographers" of Photo Boite, and an IWMF fellow.
