Alberto Gandolfo was born in Palermo in 1983. Passionate about photography since a young age, he started his training in 2010 in a local school of photography. He studied printing techniques for black and white, and then deepened his knowledge in various genres and approaches, preferring portraiture.
In 2016 he started Église, a project that aims to promote photography thanks to a continuous activity of formation and exhibition in Palermo area.
With the project "Quello che resta, What remains, Ce qui reste” he won the first prize as best portfolio at the Fotografia Europea festival 2018 and then has become a book (SilvanaEditoriale Publisher, May 2019) edited by Benedetta Donato.
The project has been selected for exhibition at FotoFabrika Festival Edition 2019 in the period june-july.
