Alec Iatan, originally from Romania, attended Transforming Arts Institute in Madrid, where he graduated with a master’s degree in Photography.
Drawing inspiration from everyday life and culture, he creates images that are situated between reality and fiction, questioning the relation between the two.
He explores themes like identity, social constructionism, direct and indirect realism.
