Born in Havana City, I grew up photographing my surroundings with a cheap-yet loved! rangefinder. After a long hiatus in my photography due to a national economic crisis, I moved to Canada to pursue an MSc in Theoretical Chemistry, where the vast and beautiful landscapes drawn me back to photography.
Aside from a few workshops, (in many different photography fields), I am a self-taught photographer. I currently work with digital and small, medium and large format film.
After working for an Oil Services company both in Canada and in the middle east, I called it quit to engage photography as my full time job. I currently reside in The Netherlands and work as a self-employed photographer.
