About Alexander Gabriel

Alexander Gabriel Albanese, born in 1997 near Milan.
After abandoning his studies in Literature, he approaches photography, finally discovering the means by which he is able to express himself and which allows him to get in touch with the world.
For him, photography means combining light with what memories, novels and past loves have left in his soul.

His artistic vein is mainly triggered by the human body and portraits. He merges what he sees with what he feels, conveying his unique perception of the subject he is taking photos of.

The conclusion of the artistic process takes place in his dark room in Milan. That's where he really feels free to express himself and let himself be carried away by what the emulsion reveals. In a world that goes fast, too fast, analog photography has allowed him to stop, reflect and focus on the essential.
