Photography for me is a two-way channel between the outside world and the inner world. By photographing, I observe and absorb. By processing the images, I extract emotional processes and formulate thoughts.
During my youth I experimented with developing photo copies in my room in the cellar, but as a means of expression I turned to writing. With adulthood and the transition to a life that for some years mainly revolved around the concrete and practical things in life, the space for listening inwards and express myself was limited.
In the spring of 2019, I took a photo course at Fotografiska in Stockholm that made me discover photography – both as an art form and as a medium to express myself through. It felt like coming home.
