I was born in Rome on the 14th of May, 1973. I finished my studies in my hometown; afterwards, I lived in Genova for four long years, because I won a public contest in 1996. In 2000, I decided to go back to Rome to pursue a dream I've had for a long time. There, I started my career in photography. Firstly, I studied at the European Institute of Design; after that, I got a Master degree in Photojournalism at the Italian Superior Photography Institute (ISFCI). In 2009, I started to work for a photography agency called "On Off Picture" and I became the co-founder of "Punto di Svista" cultural association which engages in cultural research projects, publishing and cultural visual exhibitions. During those years, I brought on my studies in visual arts , especially giving a focus on History of Art and documentary movies. In my projects, I inspect the concepts of absence and waiting, exploring the connections between landscape and the inhabitants who live there.
