We are surrounded by beauty, inmersed in it even though at times this might not be apparent. Life can be hard, tricky and unfair, and it is through the search of beauty, that I am able to mitigate the roughness and prevail. My artistic development has been driven by this filter, operating like a sieve selectively shaking reality. From this filtering images arise, giving birth to conceptual issues that for some reason I’m driven to explore. Hence a fruitful exchange begins between the reality I capture and the brushstrokes of my imagination, largely responsible for granting them the gift of visibiliy.
