I am a Taiwanese aspiring photo-media artist studying at the Australian National University. I recently graduated with 2 Bachelors: a Bachelor of Arts (International Communication and Anthropology) and a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Photography & New Media Arts). Earlier this year, I was nominated for a semester exchange to the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence where I successfully completed their spring term and developed an extensive body of work around my obsession with the country's flag obsession. I am fascinated by culture - its development, flux and its influence on shaping collective, national identities. My works seek to visually represent and interpret observations to make sense and highlight of social intricacies. My practice is also influenced by other creative disciplines such as music, literature, language, architecture, sculpture, design and film. I have more recently begun to present my work as installations with my practice as a curator as well.
