Angie grew up in the Midwest and from a young age displayed exceptional talent in music and art, focusing in the beginning of her life on writing music and performing but for the last 5 years she has poured her creativity into the wet plate collodion photography process. She's been honored to have her fine art in many galleries, publications and online e-zines and in 2015 her work was included in the book, “DAS KOLLUDIM” By Peter Michels. In October 2017 Angie received second place for her piece at Soho Photo Gallery's 13th Annual National Alternative Processes Competition in lower Manhattan. She was also just recently honored to receive Juror's Co-Choice award in the November 2017 Intimate Portrait Show at the SE Center for Photography in Greenville, SC, juried by Joyce Tenneson. Today Angie is thankful to her husband, Justin Brockey for introducing her to this beautiful photography process and creative outlet and is excited for the continued journey it brings.
