Anna (1996) was born in a small town in the East of the Netherlands. Anna has had a turbulent and challenging youth, which she now uses for a big source of inspiration. When she was 17 she started studying Social Work, and has recently graduated. These experiences manifest themselves in the way she interacts with models and present recurring themes that appear throughout her work. During a gap year, three years ago, Anna took a break from her studies to focus on her own personal development and explore her inner creativity. It was at this particular time that the art of photography and the language of images caught her attention. The camera provided Anna with a new means of expressing herself, of telling her story in her own way. In an autodidactic fashion, she has since developed herself as a professional photographer. Currently, Anna resides in a former monastery in Nijmegen. Her home, as well as the green fields around Nijmegen, act as her playground.
