Photography has always been close to my heart, but I never liked to call myself a photographer. I do not hold degrees in it (yet), I am mainly self-taught. Guided by my passion and intuition, I love to capture 'perfect imperfect moments' and tell stories. Staged, polished visuals are 'not my thing'. I identify more with an authentic, photo-journalistic approach. I observe the world and - as corny as it sounds to all the experts and skeptics - I take tremendous joy in capturing beautiful, unique moments. When I do so, I feel amazed and inspired.
I do not like to share my work as I still suffer from the 'impostor syndrome'. But you have to be brave and 'get out there' even though your creations are not perfect. Nothing is and ever will. I know my shots have a 'soul' but their technical side might be...well, not always great. But all this can be learnt. Baby steps. I am determined to develop my skills and one day hope to inspire others. So far - here it is, my 'perfect imperfection'.
