Anna Shustikova is a documentary photographer, based in Moscow. She grew up in a small closed town, and therefore in her works she often looks at Russian province. She captures lives of ordinary people, different ethnic and religious groups.
In 2014 Anna participated in "From the White Sea to the Black Sea" yacht expedition, documenting everyday life on the shores of the main Russian waterway. Now she is focused on her own long-term projects.
Her works were exhibited and screened in Russia, UK, Japan, Brazil, and Germany. In 2016 she has become a recipient of the Royal Photographic Society's International Print Exhibition Under 30s Gold Award.
