Born in Italy in 1998, Annachiara Ruzzetta is an Italian student of Political Science and International Relations of the Middle East based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She approached photography from an early age, but she would not define herself as a photographer, rather as a photography enthusiast. Her main area of interest includes reportage photography and editorial portraiture with political, social and environmental contents. One of her pictures was published on the online number of National Geographic
Italy back in 2014, and she documented the 2015 edition of the cultural festival “L’Anello Debole”. In 2017, she won a photography contest promoted by her school. From 2018 Annachiara has been working as a volunteer for the World Press Photo Foundation based in Amsterdam. In the future, she would want to cover the Middle East more extensively, and specialise in the editorial and publishing sector for international magazines and foundations.
