French woman, the expatriation of my parent’s allowed me really young to discover other countries, distant lands, and bring to life a desire which never left me: discovering of others cultures.
Few years later... with my business school diploma on my pocket, I flight to Asia and move to Shanghai for work. We are in the begining of the 21th centur,y China is opening itself to the world....Fascinating.! Before my return in France, I decide to make a detour by the square “around the world”. Let’s go for 6 months of adventures, 4 continents. Back bag on the back and camera on my hands. My first photos...
6 years of advertising career later, I decide to put an end to it to realize an other passion: play.
I join then a French theatre school. I sting castings, theatres show, from Paris to Avignon during the Festival. In parallel I write for the web, am involved in different humanitarian association and go on traveling, again and again…Take pictures again and again...
The relation with the difference, with the emotions, body, movement and energy of people, energy of the world (that one that i try to capture with my camera) is a fascination and a travel for me. Which leads me to explore also the world of massage (strongly linked to energy), to train myself, in India, with an “Ayurveda” doctor, and to go more deeply on it, from whence my 8 months of life , recently (2015-2016), in Dominican Republic. An experience incredibly intense… Here is a link to my travel story:
As a passionate and autodidact photographer, nourished by few years of travels…and extraordinary meeting, through my pics I give a truthful insight, sometimes quircky, on this world that I love so much. I testify of its brightness, of its darkness. It beauty. Its strength. Its difference.
My photos are deliberately raw.
Taken in the action, without subtlety.
To be as close as possible to the nature of the subject, its essence, its truth.
I am so glad to participate to the Magnum Photography awards . What a great opportunity you offer to us with a professional feedback and and potential visibility…We need so much this kind of “boost”. Thanks so much!
Merci beaucoup !
