About Anne Stamats

"I believe that in the future, our culture will be judged by the art of our time and how we rank it’s importance in our society. Just like we learn about history thru the arts and architecture of our past. Art is a universal language and is a reflection of historical events, trends and is our visual history. Art is in every part of our lives - intertwined with technology. We see it in our phones, movies, cars, music, to our beautifully designed buildings. We do notice it even if it’s “not our style,” and we are still affected by it. Art can shock, make you cry, make you happy, art can heal, art can teach, give you memories, be banned, cause social outrage, open up minds and change the world.
If art isn’t important, then why does it have so much power?"
