I shoot situations and people that interest me on a visceral level.
I stumbled into photography when my father lent me his Olympus OM-10 for a sixth grade class. I fell in love, and I have been taking photographs ever since.
My commercial jobs are usually food and restaurant photography in the San Francisco Bay Area. My two personal projects are: this Songkran series, and another one about the Cuban people. These two projects share a similarity in the way that my subjects embrace a sense of the playful. Thai and Cuban people are optimistic and happy people.
