Started my photography journey about 4 years ago with a cell phone. Encouraged by the comments that friends made about my photographs, started a search of learning more about photography through different courses on line. Looking for a mentor I was admitted to the Richard Dischler Workshops in Palo Alto, CA. Inspired by the professional work and the powerful pictures that I observed of Richard and the members of the workshop I'm little by little becoming a Black and White Photographer. i feel honor when the preserved moment that I capture transforms into something valuable in others people's lives. 10 years ago left my country to move to the Bay Area and never thought photography will become my passion, a passion that lets me discover and appreciate the world around in different ways and with different eyes. I hope one day my loved ones and why not people in my beloved Guatemala, will have the chance to see my work and discover the beauty of the place that now I call home.
