I studied photography at Dundee’s Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design under the guidance of the late, great Joseph McKenzie. I have over 40 years’ of work exploring images from behind the lens, with mainly experimental work using natural light. The subtle and subdued glow of the damp Scottish sun is the most used resource for painting my photographic images. I have exhibited extensively for over 30 years and have featured in the Scottish Portrait Awards in 2018 and 2019 and the Royal Scottish Academy Annual Exhibition in 2020.
