About Carlos Gulisano

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1950. Geologist (PhD in Geological Sciences) and amateur photographer.
Throughout my career I used photography as a tool, working as a field geologist, so my principal area of focus is landscape photography and nature. Besides that, my interest expanded to travel photography, architecture and street photography.
I was awarded in both national and international photo contests and exhibited my works in individual and collective exhibitions in various parts of the country.
Some highlights of my most relevant work:
Late 2015 to early 2016: “Nepal: fotografías de su gente, sus valles y senderos de montaña”. Exhibition of landscapes and human activities photographs from Nepal, at Centro Cultural Borges, Buenos Aires Argentina.
August 2018: “Espacios públicos” (Public spaces). Photographs of museums, public libraries, trains stations exhibited in the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, province of Salta, Argentina.
September 2019: Landscape photographs of Iceland
