From my high school degree in cinema and literature to my master degree of fine arts in communication, I experimented photography and video in a creative storytelling context.
Short trainings at the California College of the Arts, at the École des Métiers de l’Information in Paris and at the Missouri Photo Workshop, allowed me to apply this know-how to a more journalistic frame.
I benefited from the expertise of photographers such as Jim Goldberg from Magnum and Mat Jacob from Tendance Floue, as well as from photo editor Mary Anne Golon, head of the Washington Post photo department.
As photographer, I realize reportages and portraits for different media (e.g. Le Monde, Pèlerin, San Francisco Chronicle) as well as for corporate and public institutions communication campaigns (e.g. Ville de Paris, Fondation La Maison Rouge, Yves Saint Laurent).
My photographic approach, based on the notion of narrative, focuses on storytelling with images that carry historical, sociological and geopolitical features. The photo-documentary projects I conduced are displayed as exhibitions, publications and web documentaries (e.g. Disputed Waters, Farming school, Alimentation générale).
