César Emilio Cuevas Avilés is a young photographer and cinematographer based in Mexico City. Graduated from the technical career of photography in the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria (ENP). Currently studying Communication Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico or UNAM.
His work has been presented in the exposition "El lado oscuro de la luz" in the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria "Gabino Barreda" (2018), in "Creación de Portafolio Porfesional" of the Political and Social Sciences from UNAM (2019), "No estoy bien y está bien" and "1, 2, 3 por mí" at the Galery Tándem. He´s work has also been selected to be presented at the exposition "Yo en 2021, 2020 en mí" from Centro de la Imagen "CIMAGEN".
It has performed as a Director of Photography in the shortfilms Opia(2020), exhibited in the 48-hour Film Festival, Solo en sueños(2021) y La Fami/lia (2021); as a Director in Renacida(2021), No estoy solo(2021) and Verde(2021); and as an editor in Morte(2021). He also made a photobook tiltled "México Feliz Vol.1".
