Born in Florence (Italy), now I live and work in Milan (Italy) as a photographer.
In Florence, after graduation, for years I was involved in research and social participation. So when in 2011 I moved to Milan and totally unexpectedly I discovered photography, I started using it to document facts of social interest, antropological travels and cultural traditions.
In time I discovered an even stronger interest in people, in the individual identity, in the relationships. My eyes and my need to understand cater to the individual and to his private and professional world. I like working with people and be able to put them at ease in front of the camera. I like to talk with my subject while shooting about the dialectical relationship between being and appearance, about the relationship with their own image and their life projects. I love moving in the small space where we are, which is deeply physical and also immaterial.
Today I am a photographer of people, so that they can tell the world something of himself, and in my personal projects I try to tell the intimacy of relationships.
