Chilean-French artist, Christian McManus was born in Santiago de Chile in 1965. After studying photography in his hometown at the FOTOFORUM School, he dedicated himself to freelance work.
He collaborates in the magazine Capital de Chile from the first issue until 2003. In 1997 he begins the series "Barrios del Mundo" that takes him to travel around much of the world during the 10 years that he consecrates. In 2003 he settled in Paris for almost 10 years, carrying out his activity as a "Senior" portraitist in the famous Parisian studio Harcourt and his personal work.
He collaborates in the magazine Marie-Claire (France) and Cosas (Chile).
As of 2004, his another series, called “Barrios del Mundo” began to be exhibited in France in competitions, festivals, photography associations (law 1901), art salons and mainly in the Jamault gallery.
At the present The Gallery BlinPlusBlin represents it from 2012 in Paris.
