Christine Lenzen is an artist and educator based in Marquette, Michigan. Her work primarily deals with themes of identity, family, memory, and place. She has a particular passion for both working in and teaching film and alternative processes and finds the integration of contemporary digital processes and traditional photographic media exciting. She received her MFA in Studio Art with an emphasis on photography from the University of Notre Dame in 2012. Lenzen is a Professor of photography with the School of Art and Design at Northern Michigan University.
