His professional and personal work take him to remote locations across Africa, Asia and the Middle East including Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, India, Egypt, Mali, Côte d'Ivoire, Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique, Kenya and Madagascar. His work attempts to reveal and demystify misunderstood parts of the world and encourage others to explore, experience and encounter new cultures along the road less travelled.

Christopher has had exhibitions at the Institut Française in Antananarivo, Madagascar, and more recently at London's Royal Geographical Society.
