Size Matters: A Juried Exhibition Celebrating Small Works

Winners will be announced in September 2019

At Medium Photo, we appreciate the seductive impact of large photographs, but we haven’t lost sight of the intimate power found in small photographic prints. Our call is open to all subject matters and themes, and all types of photographic print media—from sculptural works to traditional two-dimensional prints, digital and film based images, camera-less photography—as long as the image is 10″x10″ or smaller (image size, frames can be up to 16″x20″).

Size Matters is the signature exhibition of the Medium Festival of Photography in San Diego. This is the fifth year presenting our annual exhibition, and we are proud to partner with LensCulture and Sparks Gallery to host Size Matters. The exhibition will open on October 19 and run through November 9, 2019. This year’s juror is Kai Caemmerer, Curator of Photography at SFO Museum.
