We (Saskia Coulson and Colin Tennant) are an artist partnership who develop projects through a lens-based practice, combining genres of documentary and fine art. Using visual storytelling, we create artistic, documentary and environmental work. To do this, we collaborate with many different communities and individuals and draw inspiration from historical, creative and ecological references.
We aim to make works that spark conversations about the past, present and future of the man-made and natural world. As well as striving to create stories which have value beyond media outlets, and endeavour to produce work which can affect change in the real world. This is a big ambition and one that we do not take lightly. We are always learning and reflecting on our practice and seeking to push ourselves further.
