Born in Rome, Italy, I worked in publicity. My works were exposed in Europe, USA and Brazil, and my pictures and portfolios are in private collection in the world.
Since 2003, I live in the small Boipeba Island, Brazil, where I work in photographic research of daily life and memory. In 2005, with native friends I founded the library that won prizes in Brazil and Italy. My photos are permanent exposed in the “Photography Museum Pierre Verger”, Salvador. Speaker in Museum Rodin, Casa da Photographia, Petrolina University, I exposed in “Photography Festival of Paraty” with the “Fotografas Brasileiras”.
In 2018-19, I presented my work in Italy and Brazil with personal expos, festivals, lectures and my photobook “Boipeba, a timeless place” was published and reached the second edition.
About my work in Boipeba, two videos were produced: “Waters of Boipeba” (USA prod.) and “Cristina Cenciarelli” (Italy prod). I continue to photograph the poetry of Boipeba.
