I am a woman from the region of Asturias, in the north of Spain, a humid and green region with a strong industrial and mining tradition.
I have a degree in Philosophy and I have been a professor. Later I studied a Master in European Studies at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. I have also worked as a parliamentary assistant to an MEP in the European Parliament. So for a long time I have known very closely the European institutions and European policy with its strengths and weaknesses. I have also had the good fortune of living with friends of many nationalities. Currently I work in a Union, in the Federation of Industry and Construction, so I know firsthand the labor and social conflicts. I photograph everything I can, motivated by the curiosity of small things and also by differences or cultural or social similarities in different countries.
I am very interested in making visible the struggle of women in the streets defending the equality of their rights and taking initiatives to improve the quality of our environment not only in nature but also in our cities and neighborhoods
I photograph also motivated by curiosity about little things and also by cultural or social differences or similarities in different countries
