I have been a photographer all my life.
Growing up in the Chicago suburbs provided me with the consummate 50's childhood. Coming of age during the Viet Nam era, my experiences expanded the spectrum of my perceptions of the world immeasurably.
My career in radio moved me to NYC in 1982 and after over 20 years of challenges and successes I felt an incredible sense of accomplishment and strength. Then I was ready for a new life. I married, had a daughter and I chose my life long love of photography as my new career.
Living in the woods of Connecticut surrounded by nature, with easy access to NY City, raising my daughter in this peaceful retreat and this dynamic city fed me, and my creativity exploded.
I am never as happy as I am when my camera is in my hands. I don't look for something to capture, I photograph what calls to me and says, "take ME!" The response to my work is confirmation that I have done my job well!
