Czuko Williams is a Documentary Photographer and Photojournalist based in Madrid (Spain) covering breaking news and making documentary projects where it will be around the World.
After he had a Ph.Dr. grade in History he studied photojournalism in BlankPaper Photography School in Madrid.
He was finalist at XVIII Luis Valtuña International Photo Contest with his work about homeless “Hotel de las Estrellas”. He was several Accesit at PhotoNikon Spain 2015, 2017 and 2017 for his works covering of Euromaidan’s siege in Kiev, the Holographic protest in Madrid and the crisis of refugees in Greece, Macedonia and Serbia.
He worked as freelance for several News Photo-Agencies and was Contributor of Corbis Images and Getty until January 2016, but he works mainly following his own projects, giving sense to his feeling of “pure freelance documentary” and searching only for the human side of the story. He looks for the outlying stories, for the things that happen when smoke goes.
