Dagur is an Iceland-based fine art photographer with a qualification in fine art from a college in Reykjavik. In addition to his photographic skills and profession Dagur studied classical opera singing for over seven years and he also obtained a BSc degree from Bifrost University in Iceland. Dagur's passion for travel has made him obtain a qualification in tourism and he's been working in Iceland as a professional tour operator.
For me Photography is an exciting form of expression for me and I love capturing everyday moments with a moody feel to them.
For me, the story telling of a photo is very important and I try to connect with people's emotions through my photography. Subjects such as landscapes with dramatic clouds or captivating sunlight, moody winter scenes, and the beautiful northern lights are of special and personal interest to me and I photograph these scenes most often."
