My interest in documentary photography comes from the power of visual esthetics, and documentary representations of life. The story telling that can be woven with, faces, colors, shadows, shapes and space has proven to be a beautiful way to show the world, to someone "blind" to it. Light emerging from shadows, could be said about my interest in documentary. Seeing more than meets the eye. Getting where imagination can no longer reach. Where only the reality of the human soul can express it's existence, that's the photos I'm after.
I am in the process of starting my own photo collective in Mexico City. I am currently working on a Movie/PhotoBook project on the Identity of Mexico City's Youth.
I wish only to empower and maybe enlighten those who see my pictures, and to honor those in them.
