Daniel Philipona is a former banking and IT manager and self taught photographer. He is interested in the landscape of Switzerland's "Mittelland", that zone between Jura and Alps where most Swiss people live. A landscape of rivers, highways, railways, sprawling suburbs, small towns and villages. It is an unspectacular landscape that most people do not see when hurrying from on place to the other by car or train. Daniel explores the structure, the beauty and the peculiarities of this area lying in the middle of everything but also, in a way, nowhere.
