Daniel Ribar is a photographer living and working in Detroit Michigan. He holds a BFA in photography from the College for Creative Studies and is currently pursuing an MFA in photography from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
Ribar has been a guest lecturer at several institutions including Harvard Graduate School of Design and College for Creative Studies.
Daniel has grown up in and around the city of Detroit. Detroit and the contrasting towns surrounding have undeniably influenced the way he exists in the world and produces art. Other interests revolve around health and fitness - running, stretching and meditation - all of which have had their own impacts on his artistic practice.
