I work in the nonprofit world unrelated to photography, but have enjoyed the arts my whole life. Over the past several years I've dedicated increased time to my love of photography, taking my camera to explore Michigan where I live, or adding on days to do photography wherever my day job takes me. Favorite photographers include Lewis Hine and Sebastiao Salgado, along with Gordon Parks and the other LIFE magazine photographers.
