David Infante (born1982 in France) lives and works Évora, Por David Infante is an artist working predominantly with traditional photography.
The artist’s main theme is time-space, space-time- both to the idea of identity, absence, memory and transformation. Despite his multi-fold and multi-themed projects, the dominating subject of “time/space time” evidences his particular interest in timeless photography. Revolving around a central theme of “time,” he categorizes it into two: a “time of contemplation, timeless photography” at centre stage and a “production time” in the backstage.
He Received his MA in Photography from the Royal College of Art in London (2017). He is a recipient of the Serralves Museum/Banco Esperito Santo award (2008), Centro Português de Fotografia Award (2007). He was also selected for Descubrimentos of Photoespaña 2014.
