I grew up in New York and started taking pictures and developing film when I was 12. I have a BFA from Alfred University and an MFA from Visual Studies Workshop. I specialized in 19th century processes such as cyanotype, Van Dyke brown, gum dichromate, casein prints, and photogravure. My work is in collections of several museums, libraries and archives throughout the US. I have exhibited locally, nationally and internationally since the late 1980’s and self-published a book “Intimate Landscapes” in 2012. I am currently working on a series of portraits called "Conversations with the Past" based on 19th Century process and esthetics.
