Davide Greco (1982) is a freelance photographer based in Turin, Italy. After the engineering studies, in 2012 he gained an important job experience in Geneva as researcher. Meanwhile he cultivated the passion for photography, combining the artistic research with the professional activity as photographer for cultural events and portraits. In November 2014 he moved to Italy to entirely devote himself to photography. He continued his education by participating in numerous workshops and in November 2015 he successfully concluded the "Luz Academy" masterclass in documentary photography and storytelling at the Luz agency in Milan.
His photographic research aims to synthesize artistic sensitivity and scientific rigor, by adopting a narrative approach halfway between the documentary and the metaphorical. Learning, openness, practice and the joy for experimentation are constants of his work as a photographer. The main topics addressed in his recent work concern the study of the construction of the identity in relation to cultural schemes in western society and the interaction between human factor and technology.
He sometimes works as cinematographer to create short movies, documentaries and commercial videos.
