My formal artistic training ended early and abruptly shortly after I completed painting a rock. It had a charming motif of a turtle wearing a top hat. Alas, it didn’t demonstrate sufficient promise to advance my studies into the 7th grade.
Instead, I took the path of liberal arts studies to become a human resources professional. Like my initial artistic life, my professional career with a big 4 consultancy ended early and abruptly. Lyme Disease. Between naps I discovered photography and reemerged into what seemed a faster moving world with a postage-stamp-sized point-and-shoot camera. I found a way to reexamine and reconnect with the world, happy to settle into a different life experience, documenting my world as I see it.
