De Sheng Lim is a documentary photographer currently based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He is presently working on a long-term photographic project on the impact economic development is having on Cambodian society. His most recent work is a photographic essay on the 'Boys of Boeung Kak Lake'. This series looks at the transition of Boeung Kak from a lake to a massive residential development through the eyes of the boys who live in surrounding villages. Furthermore since 2015 he has been working as a Legal Consultant at the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Tribunal – Extraordinary Chambers of the Courts of Cambodia.
