My relationship to the environment is voyeuristic. The choice of imagery is diverse but the sentiments remains the same.
This body of work is about a fleeting atmospheric moment; a quick mediation. Using a camera to catach the ephemeral quality of light is significant to me. Sometimes it begins with a subtle observation of something. Ther is allure in that glimpse; an inkling that there might be something sublime in the ordinary.
My phographs represent everwhere and nowhere. They are moments that could have gone unnoticed if not for a quiet pause. The remoteness is a place to reflect and withdraw.
I currently live in upstate NY.
