For my entire professional career, I have been an educator, teaching young people how to tell their own story and shape the world around them. This is what I strive to do with my photography as well. I specialize in documentary photojournalism and try to tell the stories that don't always make the headlines, but should. I believe journalism should be restorative, a path to healing, and a force of positive social change. I currently live in Brooklyn, write curriculum for an educational nonprofit, and recently earned my Master's in Art, Education & Community Practice from NYU.
