I live in the Dartmoor town of Tavistock in Devon, England. My husband and I moved here because we love the moors so much. I became addicted to photography after joining an online photography journal. I initially used my phone but soon bought my first entry level camera: a Nikon D3100. I moved onto a D7100 which has been beaten about quite a bit as I've stomped over the moor. In 2019 I embarked upon a photography project about the people of Dartmoor because I'd been asked to exhibit at a cafe and they wanted me to reflect the people of Dartmoor. This became a vast project and I think it will be an ongoing one. I currently have an exhibition at the Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre in Princetown. This runs from Jan to the end March 2020 and is simply called Working Life on Dartmoor.
