My name is Dimitra Psichogiou and I am a Greek freelance photographer and photojournalist.
As a teenager I discovered my interest in photography and took courses based on the black & white technic, dark room and development. Traveling to foreign countries I developed that interest and made it what it is today a long lasting love for everything that exceeds the naked eye. That is why my work is a multi-aspect one, from fashion, theater, live concerts to advertising and working for the press, from editing a documentary for the Special Olympics of 2008 to filming, directing and editing a Video Clip for a rock band.
I work with projects and themes that are close to my heart.
I count two participations on exhibitions, one with landscapes from the island of Poros and another one themed “close-up project”, photos cropped very close to parts of the human body. Also I count one personal exhibition with themes from Ancient Greece.
